Support for Trump is more or less a litmus test in a lot of the primary races
That didn't stop him from winning
Because he fought, and fought, until he won
I think feel your kinda exagerrating how much congress opposes him
He has to do the same here
The man problem is in the Senate
Well, they're not giving him his immigration reform, Walter
Congress as a whole is bad
There are a lot of good Congressmen
but as a collective, it's an anti-Trump coalition
They passed kate's law and a bunch of other stuff in the house its just that it was DOA in the Senate
And most of the pro immigrant Congress members like Flake, Corker, and Ryan are retiring
Yeah, but it's not like we're going to get what we want in 2019
the House is going to be thinned out
John McCains gonna probably die this year too
and I'll be honest, I think the Senate could be in jeopardy too
It probably won't stay that way
since we have really good people running
but we need to deliver on Trump's agenda NOW
The Republican Party can't keep doing this routine,
"Oh, just give us the Senate"
"Oh, just give us the White House"
Well, now Republicans have everything
And they STILL can't pass anything
You really think they're going to be able to convince their voters to come out a **fourth** time in a row?
This "just come out for us one more time" song and dance can only be done so many times before the voters say "Oh screw you, I'm done"
What do you want me tell to you?
Our political institutions were designed around only having incremental change
Well, then it's going to cost us in November
Unless Republicans can pass something concrete before them
Well,
amidst the doom and gloom,
here's some good news:
It’s been 3 weeks since Ryan announced his retirement and there have been zero other House R retirements.
But with all this korea stuff
Walter hit the nail on the head
doesnt it give trump a huge chance of winning
"Our political institutions were designed for incremental change"
@Swamp Killer trump yeah, not the republican congress though
