There's a key natural gas pipeline which could be constructed from the largest gas field in the world in Qatar/Iran into Europe which would massively reduce EUropean dependence on Russia and Middle East hydrocarbon exporters. This'd help significantly stem immigration from the Middle East. This cannot be constructed now due to the USA.
