Did the Democrats propose this monstrosity?
Supposedly this is the Congress Maps that Pa Democrats want what was leaked. It's being circulated online. I'm not sure if it's real or not.
Are the colors the proposed districts?
Because those look even more unconstitutional than the current districts
If they're not the exact same districts, that is!
"This is my district. Conor is running a grassroots campaign. He is going to PTA meetings, Jewish community centers, School teacher meetings, local union chapters, and knocking on doors in all Allegheny, Washington, westmoreland and Greene counties. This type of campaigning means more than dumping money into tv ad buys."
Is that comment true on there? The one that says Republicans are outspending Lamb 15 to 1?
Jesus
Are we?
I don't want us to blow our load before November like the dems are doing
These elections are important, but big picture, we're going to need to have that money for Nov 6
@Den >WaPo
if it's true, it's actually a good thing
Why would it be a good thing?
the Democrats have been overspending us in the past few special elections
it's good we do the same to them for once
What overspend?
No
@FLanon I want to see the Democrats BTFO on the PA-18 race
This is small fish relative to November.
they've been gloating about their "overperformances" when really it's because they've been overspending
it's not like the GOP is going to blow all their money on this one race
they have too much to do that
I'd rather lose this election and get the seats we need in November
We need all the resources we can get, we cannot afford to match the left money-wise on anything other than November
I want to see them lose PA-18 also, but the thing is we've got more drastic stuff beyond that
This is how I see it
i'm not to sure how valuable the PA-18 race will be as an indicator for November,
there will be sizeable shift for the Dems regardless, simply because Murphy, who was popular among the general population, is not on the ballot
it's difficult to say just how conservative PA-18 really is,
because the district is relatively recently drawn
let's take a look to see how Trump performed here,
okay,
according to the data, Trump won here by a 10-20% margin,
which represents its voting habit in a neutral environment (without Murphy on the ballot, being popular and all)
it's definitely not the most pro-GOP area of the state,
but it's not like Georgia-6 (suburban, college-educated),
so assuming Trump can energize voters here, the GOP candidate (name escapes me) should be fine
@🎃Boo-ton🎃 the issue is that the Democrat candidate, Lamb, is doing a grassroots, door-to-door campaign and a good looking guy
