I'm simulating a flat plane

how is my sim different to the flat earth?

I can show you how I'm doing it

if you take a ship and watch it go over the horizon with the naked eye

its gone over the horizon, surely

you can zoom in and it will appear again

if you zoom in slowly it will seem to rise up from the horizon

that isn't what my model shows though

its all flat, but perspective is causing you to miss part of the boat

my model isn't the earth

my model is just 4 flat sides

extending into the distance

you have a camera and can see awter with boats?

Boats and water would make it take probably hours to render

I am not simulating boats exactly

just an object

what i would suggest is do more research, if you actually care about the shape of the earth its best if you do the research

you say that its every 100 feet and its 500 feet long

its not evenly dispersed

every 100 feet is not a cube

now *that* is perspective
