Ok
so for my view I'm a support of decentralizing resource production
think like those people who go off grid
then link everything up to distribute resources where needed
something like those communal smart grids for electricity
I see
the only thing that anarchism *needs* to be a thing is nonviolence
as it's the foundation of the ideology
everything else can vary, so diferent anarchists have different ideas for how things should go
How would you guys prevent a group of people from taking over without military or police?
that's largely been the main problem with anarchism. That non-anarchists do not have the same valuing of peace, and will attack
historically what has happened was violence in self defense by anarchists to protect the anarchist way of life
and indeed today we generally see the main struggle is anarchists living as anarchists, and then being harassed by police
I see
unfortunately anarchism differs from most ideologies in that it doesn't use violence as enforcement
only as self defense
which means that to get to anarchism, you have to have people willing to opt into it
rather than a violent takeover
Also how would you guys agree on which kind of anarchism to use? since you said you all have different views of anarchism
generally speaking, anarchism allows people to live how they please, provided you don't harm others
so in practice there will realistically be a variety of different optional structures people use
but the main guiding factor that will be followed is whatever means were used to arrive at anarchism
so in the model I support, it'd be a gradual reduction of reliance on government and capitalism
