-- Before i gave up "pork" though, ..and that includes hotdogs obviously, ..but yep ..before i gave it up, ..i used to always just heat up hotdogs in the microwave, for like 30seccies to a minute

yep, some people eat 'em raw (or cold), not me, though, ..i use to warm 'em up a lil, Zap'em in the microwave ⚡ zap

many sausages are precooked

yep--many of them too

i use to eat/get them "sausage patties" (sausage breakfast patties) , and make lil breakfast sandwiches out of them . Yep them too ..(i used to eat ...quite often) .

"bacon" isnt generally pre-cooked, ..but ..heheh ..i used to (sometimes) "cook it" right in the microwave, lol 😆

My grandpa used to eat a hotdog with his cereal. Maybe that was just a thing they did during the war and it stuck with him.

He served in WW2, he's gone now though. Cheerios just like in the picture above a little ways.

he went to WW2 as well as yours

Thank you very much. They were definitely from an amazing generation. My other grandfather was set to deploy but he was lucky and the war ended.
