Lightning bolts of peace
From what I've seen it can be detrimental to one's life--whether socially or physically--to believe anything contrary to mainstream opinion.
But does it really matter if it happened or not
That's the better question
Holodomor
Christian genocide
Etc
Many such examples
The Holocaust is an almost convenient line of rhetoric in which to classify right or right-leaning individuals or groups as potential mass murderers.
I'm not sure why it comes up--other than to box someone into the "Nazi" square.
The left are all worse than stain anyway
It's hard to carry a conversation when you're classified as a proponent of "bad people."
Worse than Mao perhaps
The few conversations I've had with anyone who considers themselves "left" are unable to adequately contest claims of communist participation in genocide--among other heinous acts. It's a predictable rotation from accusation to accusation ("you're just white/privileged/male/heterosexual/something").
And I won't even mention what happens when you bring into question certain claims made regarding the Holocaust. I can't even touch the subject in far-right circles.
But I'd agree, I don't know why it matters.
This is the picture I saw in the political sim that got me to find this https://www.anticom.zone/product-page/anticom-inspirational-gestalt-poster-pack
