@Reno I ainโ€™t far from Kentucky.... got room to blow up a car? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

2020-04-28 23:57:47 UTC

I'd be down to get together and do some small unit training though. Always good to know the guys and how they carry their weight if things ever go south.

2020-04-28 23:57:47 UTC

@American_AF that bmw? ๐Ÿ˜‚

2020-04-28 23:58:04 UTC

@Sparrow I'd be down

2020-04-28 23:58:34 UTC

I know of 3 guys kinda local-ish to me. I'd have to hit them up, I only know one personally. But two others I got in contact with in the comms server.

2020-04-28 23:58:44 UTC

Nah. Lol. A Jetta

2020-04-28 23:58:57 UTC

Electronics went out? ๐Ÿ™‚

2020-04-28 23:58:58 UTC

@American_AF even better

2020-04-28 23:59:56 UTC

Well Knob creek occasionally has that machinegun shoot. But half the guys at that place are Fudds.

2020-04-29 00:00:10 UTC

2020-04-29 00:00:22 UTC

Yeah, it autocorrected, sorry.

2020-04-29 00:00:30 UTC

Have a good one.

2020-04-29 00:00:36 UTC

And i can get it to run. Itโ€™s just a shit car.

2020-04-29 00:01:03 UTC

Hey... it'd be perfect to test the weak spots on a car.

2020-04-29 00:01:31 UTC

And get used to taking cover behind one. They aren't humvees after all, can't hide behind the whole thing.

2020-04-29 00:02:11 UTC

I've heard the engine compartment offers the most cover

2020-04-29 00:02:16 UTC

It does.

2020-04-29 00:02:30 UTC

But I'm curious as to if there are any other relatively protected spots.

2020-04-29 00:03:19 UTC

There are metal reinforcements that go along the interior of the door and they vary in size and shape but it can be thick enough to help.

2020-04-29 00:03:25 UTC

doors

Paul Harrell has a really good video on the subject, his youtube channel is where it's at

2020-04-29 00:04:42 UTC

Oh, I think I've watched that video actually. It's just been a while.

2020-04-29 00:04:56 UTC

It sure would be fun to try it yourself though haha

2020-04-29 00:05:59 UTC

Yeah for sure. I would like to get back into some form of competitive shooting again though.

2020-04-29 00:06:11 UTC

I haven't even shot in a couple weeks.

2020-04-29 00:08:38 UTC

I have extra ballistic panels from doing my BMW we can add for science.

2020-04-29 00:09:24 UTC

Eh, I'm not worried. I'll save my 855 for igloo party. And just use 55 since it's more plentiful.

2020-04-29 00:10:19 UTC

Iโ€™ll even bring the ammo!

2020-04-29 00:10:36 UTC

Well hell, that's real generous my guy...

2020-04-29 00:10:41 UTC

Maybe.. too generous....

2020-04-29 00:10:46 UTC

Just for that you get the blanks

2020-04-29 00:11:25 UTC

2020-04-29 00:11:51 UTC

*Starts to gatther small .22 cal pellets.* I'll make use of those blanks.
