I hate doing ball joints. Sometimes they pop out with one hit other times you’re beating on it for an hour

2020-04-29 03:09:28 UTC

Working on Land Cruisers for so fucking long gave me an entirely new appreciation for doing suspension work on little Nissans and Hondas

2020-04-29 03:10:41 UTC

Then I hate changing spark plugs cause it’s always the middle even that gives me fucking trouble taking out and putting back it

2020-04-29 03:11:42 UTC

You say that like you haven't tried to pull plugs on a V8 F150

2020-04-29 03:12:19 UTC

I hate taking the damn door panels off of a 04-08 Ford

2020-04-29 03:12:26 UTC

Jesus the ones that have 16 aren't bad to work on but dear god if it doesnt take 10 fucking years

2020-04-29 03:13:29 UTC

Every time I get voluntold to wrench around on my dad's, every single plug breaks and they're a foot down in the block. Trick is you have to keep the engine hot and get them out while it's running

2020-04-29 03:14:03 UTC

Heard they made a tool to extract broke plugs

2020-04-29 03:14:47 UTC

I've never had 3v plugs break myself. But I've always been told to get it hot, soak them in penetrating oil, let it cool down, get it hot again, and take them out with an impact

2020-04-29 03:15:26 UTC

That'd do it. They get hardcore siezed up in there.

2020-04-29 03:15:33 UTC

I haven’t broke one myself

2020-04-29 03:15:50 UTC

Just had a hard time getting em out of my truck

2020-04-29 03:16:28 UTC

My 2000 S10 had to have the steering shift dropped to change #3 plug

2020-04-29 03:16:43 UTC

Never understood how GM overlooked that

2020-04-29 03:17:18 UTC

Been meaning to ask, you guys ever thought about using paramotors for the cookout? No license to own/operate, 3k for a nice entry model and 10 hours flight time on a 5 gallon tank of gas

2020-04-29 03:17:21 UTC

Would've just jacked the motor up but the mount bolts were absolutely fucked from whoever changed them last

2020-04-29 03:17:46 UTC

Paramotors?

2020-04-29 03:17:59 UTC

I didn’t like how in my 99 Silverado the radio fuse controlled my odometer

2020-04-29 03:19:08 UTC

Looks like that

2020-04-29 03:19:25 UTC

They can get some serious altitude

2020-04-29 03:19:47 UTC

I’d rather keep my feet on the ground

2020-04-29 03:19:51 UTC

Seems dangerous 🙂

2020-04-29 03:20:03 UTC

I mean, you've already got a parachute out 🤣

2020-04-29 03:20:13 UTC

true lol

2020-04-29 03:20:50 UTC

Stick to boots on the ground

2020-04-29 03:21:01 UTC

Easy enough to make too for the brave, it's just a lawn mower engine with a prop and cage

2020-04-29 03:21:04 UTC

🤣

2020-04-29 03:21:44 UTC

Yeah they’re easy to make til a strong enough breeze comes through

2020-04-29 03:22:50 UTC

I'm thinking about getting one in the future and seeing what accuracy would look like from you there

2020-04-29 03:22:56 UTC

Up

2020-04-29 03:23:42 UTC

Then study em and we can mass produce til we get better equipped

2020-04-29 03:24:15 UTC

May well do that. Only problem is theyd get bubba'd and that'll mean regulations

2020-04-29 03:24:46 UTC

4 wheels are sketcky enough

2020-04-29 03:24:57 UTC

Let's be honest here

2020-04-29 03:25:12 UTC

A fucking motorized parachute is bubba'd as is 😂

2020-04-29 03:25:20 UTC

🤣🤣🤣

2020-04-29 03:25:25 UTC

You're not wrong unfortunately

2020-04-29 03:25:57 UTC

Still cool as shit tho

2020-04-29 03:27:01 UTC

Biggest draw for me is that I found a channel where the guy running it has multiple stories of accidentally running from the cops on one. Usually nosy Nellie's calling the law cause they don't understand and they can't pursue him in the air

2020-04-29 03:27:30 UTC

id rather use a glider than that thing
