Hmm actually this place doesn't mention magnum calibers but i know a lot of places don't allow them on steel
Dry fire @[CA] SoyBoi
MSP has some pointers on it
@Artemis when someone actually has goals and a requirement for their build đ
They actually have really nice blowback airsoft gums
Electric blowback is decent but GBB is realistic as fuck apparently
I have a couple GBB pistols and theyâre amazing
One shot drills are great for reloads since you only shoot one bullet between magazine changes
I wanna try paintball for more active training
Dry fire as well as live fire obviously
Even just holding position or practicing getting the rifle into position doesn't require shooting.
I start all builds with a purpose. It sorta comes with my maximizer nature. Even the grip on an ar has to be hand selected
Air soft gets you more lifelike manual of arms training but Jfc air shit culture is trash
Paintball is dying but airsoft has guns that feel and manipulate exactly the same as real guns
Paintball is a lot more chill in my experience
You can still practice tactics the manual of arms is just different
And whatâs up my fellow okie
Just dry fire your actual guns sheesh
I canât do that pointing at other people though
You get weird looks and the cops show up
Also yeah some bad apples, usually little kids or people who's entire personality is that they "were gonna join the army but..."
^
@Artemis IMO, youâve got 3 options for that build
Buy a semi-high tier AR
Buy a mid tier AR and accurize it
Buy a middish tier bolt gun
The try hard kids I can handle because they are just edge lords
Itâs the grown men who âI woulda been a ranger had I passed my PT testâ that take it way to seriously
Most of the kids are actually okay though. Their aggression in play will really throw you for a loop if you're used to playing cautious and only taking shots when you know you'll hit
You'll be bunkered up then suddenly there's a tiny travis haley sprinting at you while putting 5 rounds in your chest
airsoft *stuff* can be good for training. Going and playing airsoft is not
If needed to head out with gear, you can practically carry just a rifle and pistol on you huh
Hurts my heart not to bring the rest of the goods
Dry fire real guns. Shoot real guns. Or buy the 22 LR version of your gun
Next build a 22lr bolt action AR đȘ lol
Dedicated 22lr ARâs are like 400bucks
M&P sports were on sale for 360 yesterday
Would the kali key that turns a 556 AR into a bolt gun work on the CMMG 22lr boltđ§
Uhhh maybe?
Yea I want to buy the 22lr SW to be a fun silencer host
My dad had one of those with a silencerco on it, sweet way to train
Depends on who you're playing with. Pickup games can teach you a few things about aggression of action but I've had a few private games under instruction of a couple of rangers and that was something else
But yeah I think i might go with a bolt gun and occasionally upgrade it. I'm not exactly made of money, but i want something serviceable that will fit my purpose
If you already have a fighting rifle, that seems like a reasonable decision
