Lmfao I love the spoon
> But of you suck with irons and say that fancy optic has broken or suffered some sort of failure you can be up shits creek if facing off against people who are excellent shooters with just irons
@BugsyBaldwin things that are not real - that
Irons break too.
Trijicon SRO on an arisaka offset mount seems like it may be a decent backup plan. I've got a rock solid scope mount but it's not QD
Just don’t break anything and you’re good to go. Problem solved
but I'm mean to my equipment
I mean I'm not nearly as bad as a marine buuuut
Lol
Sometimes you've gotta just bonk them
Just picked up an ADM UIC Mod 2
14.5
@Artemis I would *not* put an SRO on a rifle
Nice! @bum
Better option? Maybe an aimpoint micro?
Anyone have any experience with Nightforce LPVOs?
Trying to enter into the LPVO world with an offset dot soon
nightforce lpvo's are good enough that I can't afford them lol
Lol
Or Kahles
I think flannel daddy has a video on their 1-8 ATACR
Rmr, T1 or acro @Artemis, the sro isn’t rated for that
Nighforce is awesome
I’m heavily debating swapping my current 1-8 for a NF
Interesting, didn't know that the sro wasn't rated for that. I figured it was just an improved rmr
What are you using currently @Crye_Salesman
What would you recommend for an offset dot
looks like they just suggested the rmr, T1, and acro
Acro or rmr?
If you had to pick one
Going from some quick specs and reviews, I'd lean towards the rmr due to the smaller size, larger window, and better battery life. Apparently a lot of people have been seeing the acro run out of battery in days instead of months or years
plus the rmr has been vetted to hell and gone over the years
I'd be half tempted to stick a dual illumination rmr on my rifle, though the smallest dot is 7moa. Not sure how I feel about that as I've never ran a reticle that big before
Anyone have experience shooting CCI 22 short CB?
I have shot a fair amount of 22 short from cci what's the question?
I'm curious how loud it is.
Honestly its fairly quiet for an actual cartridge
But you can almost follow the projectile with your eye all the way to the target lol I used to shoot them out of a cheap little 22 revolver and a single shot youth 22 for shits and giggles
Shooting from a rifle will make it quieter
Next to no recoil and a nice little pop
Yeah the revolver made it a little louder
I've a model 12 I want to shoot more but my regular rounds are too expensive to shoot right now and I was hoping not to draw a lot of attention.
