7.62×25, 9mm, and 44 Russian is all I got for handgun calibres
Logistics are the most important thing where we're going
Never was one for the pistol calibre carbines
PCC’s have a niche. But it’s small
I love my AR9
Like cry me said it does have its niche
I feel like they would be better suited for a more urban environment
Not so much ‘urban’ as, I can’t, for whatever reason, have a gun larger than 12”x12” on this mission
Ah understandable
Yup. I got it thinking my GF would enjoy shooting it
Which she does
I take my pcc places with me.
It’s a good size for her
Its my diaper bag gun
Idk I feel like a 9mm ar wouldn’t do much in brush and shrubbage
Granted, just guessing. Don’t know shit so don’t murder me
If you’re within 50 yards it will be fine
Lol that’s pistol range
This should get moved over to armory
*make me*
223 does wild shit in brush
But what if I want to shoot at a covered position further out than that :p
Then you should have something capable of doing that
Anyone have tabs on Dallas and the hair salon?
No sir
Something like a MPX I would expect to be able to maintain center chest hits to about 200, granted that you know your holds
Eh I just generally advocate strategy over marksmanship per se
Uh
*rage mode re-activated*
Jk, but that’s not how this works
Rofl
No no you gotta shoot but you also gotta not just *square up* like bigger guns matter
Gotcha
I really need to get to a range
I think a lot of people here are just on a very simplistic level of thinking about...9/10 of this
Distance negates skill, so I would rather start my engagement in a way that I can control and shape the battlespace before my enemy is even capable of returning accurate fire, if possible.
Correct
"the master of defense is he who is never in the place that is attacked"
And such like
Nobody who's like "we should go pick that fight" is reading Sun Tzu
