well, everyone talks about either the worth of the individual or the worth of the collective as absolute
but those are shallow one dimensional philosophies
most of the point of confucian philosophy is to describe the ideal relationship between individual and collective
that is one of the reasons I like it so much
when normal retards say either "SLAVE FOR THE GLORY OF THE HORDE" or "FUCK YOU DAD," confucian philosophy gives a much subtler picture that explains both perspectives and their relation to one another
