one of my fav metal song in general

2017-04-06 16:39:28 UTC

the rest of album is kind of lame

2017-04-06 16:39:34 UTC

Can't see a reason for you to dislike the rest if you like this one.

2017-04-06 16:39:36 UTC

uh oh

2017-04-06 16:39:48 UTC

Yeah, that's strange.

2017-04-06 16:39:58 UTC

For you to like Beholding but think the rest is lame.

2017-04-06 16:40:10 UTC

the rest of album is , like the name suggests, one in your face argument after another in your face agument, which is something I'm intolerrant about in arts

2017-04-06 16:40:41 UTC

subtlety is key precondition for me

2017-04-06 16:41:09 UTC

That's incomprehensible to me.

2017-04-06 16:41:25 UTC

He's not making argument

2017-04-06 16:41:33 UTC

Yes he is

2017-04-06 16:41:35 UTC

He makes statements.

2017-04-06 16:41:39 UTC

Even worse

2017-04-06 16:42:17 UTC

The song i said i like is the only one that's subtle, inspiring and non-sermonial

2017-04-06 16:42:24 UTC

Though indirectly. The worlds he's created, the visions he's showing, are supposed to justify his statements.

2017-04-06 16:42:47 UTC

His statements remaining unstated,

2017-04-06 16:42:47 UTC

And as many good form of arts, it was inspired by another great piece of art, that is, Tolkien's poem

2017-04-06 16:42:50 UTC

But derived.

2017-04-06 16:44:44 UTC

@fallot I was a know nothing default prog liberal growing up, but i had the powers of autism and trollishness to keep my head on straight. i just wanted solutions to problems and didn't care about people's sentimental hangups. i came across A.N.U.S. by chance soon after graduating high school and became an overnight fascist. my mind was always open to ideas that made sense and it was just a matter of finding the good information.

2017-04-06 16:45:17 UTC

thanks, when did you encounter ANUS?

2017-04-06 16:45:44 UTC

roughly 10 years ago

2017-04-06 16:46:02 UTC

Metal acts seem to have these moments when they are just metalling along, and just stumble into one great block of inspiration and write something worth listening

2017-04-06 16:46:08 UTC

Consider Bathory

2017-04-06 16:46:28 UTC

He made some really epic songs, but always in time spans of 5-6 forgettable songs

2017-04-06 16:46:32 UTC

What metal do you like?

2017-04-06 16:46:37 UTC
2017-04-06 16:46:43 UTC

No particular act

2017-04-06 16:46:43 UTC

Do you like Morbid Angel?

2017-04-06 16:46:49 UTC

Only certain songs

2017-04-06 16:46:55 UTC

What songs?

2017-04-06 16:47:03 UTC

I didn't listen hours and hours of metal so I'm not versed

2017-04-06 16:47:27 UTC

You don't remember which songs you liked, you mean?

2017-04-06 16:48:07 UTC

What other death metal bands have songs you like?

2017-04-06 16:48:14 UTC

Take this one i just mentioned

2017-04-06 16:48:25 UTC

I liked bathory's the Wheel of Sun very much

2017-04-06 16:48:29 UTC

I want more examples to get a better picture.

2017-04-06 16:48:52 UTC

Slayer's Raining Blood is i guess a famous cult classic that's just great

2017-04-06 16:49:04 UTC

Sepultura's Slave New World crosses my mind

2017-04-06 16:49:20 UTC

I am calling for a total and complete shutdown of dead kid pictures from entering the united states.

2017-04-06 16:49:50 UTC

Also, what death metal?
