the counrty was getting increasingly spiritual

and was baptized at the age of 4 i believe, in Serbian Orthodox Church

My most immediate friends aren't religious, but society in general is latently religious, and massively declares as such, over 98% of people declaring as religious

but it's only declaration

herds understanding of religion, always includes murder, group sex, drugs, foul language etc

i subscribed to orthodox theology, monarchism and worldview at one point in the past, briefly

a lot of gay mystical nazis approach religion from a sensual or pragmatic perspective

but at that time i was leaning more towards greek understanding of orthodoxy, and evne russian to an extent, than to Serbian

Serbian orthodox Christians are mostly fervently anti-Catholic, while I was not as much

Catholicism is to an extent, considered a mortal enemy of Serbs, and Vatican is seen as a main culprit of crimes against Serbs done by Catholics, even more than the people themselves

Christmass by fasting and burning of those great bonfires on the christmass eve

and by traditional lunches and religious services on christmass day itself

full fasting would often be performed by not especially pious people due to health benefits

On Easter, dying eggs, fasting and "breaking" of eggs is performed

and abstinence from all work on Good Friday
