I really hate my job.

I work as a clerk/payment processor for a fundraising group for several charities and the fundraising group is horrible.

The callers are forced to pretty much force the people they call to sell, and I get browbeaten when I turn down a donation if it's from a teen/very elderly person.

It bothers me when I have to call the same person who donated on the first, again pn the 25th to try to get them to donate again even tho I *just* called them.

And when you DNC the numbers the corporate bosses just put them back on the call list 3 weeks later and we get bitched at for it.

Ugh.

Sorry for the rant. HR does nothing.

I don't even mean to moralfag over it. I just think it's greasy.

I hope I get sent home for poor sales today.

But it feels scummy how often I hound the same people for money.

But if we don't collect a certain amount per hour we're punished for it.

you have to make a distinction between what's right, saying what's right, and what you do/can do

you should be fine with saying "that's wrong"

others will assume "and I am above it"
