The point is simply that Heartiste, an star in the constellation of internet philosophy that trickles through r/theredpill (also includes Roosh, Rollo Tomassi, etc) believes that he has the answer to an enormous and complex issue and can give it to me in 1500 words. He doesn't, but he doesn't KNOW he doesn't, because he, like most of these idiots, has a really unfortunate combination of arrogance and laziness

I won't get into the how they work part, because the difference between a grant and a tax credit is dry. But his perception of the necessity for subsidies is flawed. He ignores the fact that electricity production is not a free market.
