product #1 is pretty much figured out, just evaluating suppliers. for #2 we still need to research it a bit and figure out what exact dimensions, colors, specs etc
well first I am going to briefly reevaluate the market and see if it's even a good idea, just to make sure I was even right

My predicted expenses for self-publishing at the most basic level should be 1) cover design 2) line-editing 3) formatting 4) advertising
but I think 4) is the only real essential thing there. self-pub authors vastly over think cover design
because they have infallibly bad taste

@diversity_is_racism I don't contest the importance of a well-designed and appealing cover. I just think that simplicity and good taste will win me the day over paying a designer to design me something like this
