Having determined that federalism question, what changes need to be made? Does the supreme court need to quit using the Commerce Clause to expand federal power?
there's no well-resolved picture of what a government would look like from us yet.
At least, not within the current constitutional framework. Certainly some people would argue we should institute nazi germany or the monarchy or an anarchist non-state and just ignore the constitution.
One option. But i think not a very likely one in the next few decades
@UOC I AM NOT SURE THAT POLICY PAPERS WILL WORK, GIVEN THE LOW TRUST IN INSTITUTIONS
BUT IT IS AN INTERESTING IDEA
I think it's just something that needs to be there. It's not the motivating force or the main driver or anything. But at some point somebody is going to have to pass a law with specific policy positions.
unless there's a real revolution obviously
it's the boring part, except for spergs like me who like it
this kind of thing
but more
Are you guys chatting? @diversity_is_racism @comcast
@Parasite I AM LAGGING
ARE YOU JOINING IN?
Sure maybe in a few minutes, just waiting for Anti-Cimex album to end
I'm in now
woo, sent all of my quote requests
congrats
gonna be f5f5f5 on these supplier sites for the next few days
I'd say I'm probably a 6.0 on the sperg richter scale
but I come across as like a <4.0 due to my consistent attempts to understand and eliminate my neuroticism
a sperg with insight isn't a sperg
absent insight is defining
now having spergs design my business logo
hired designer
I still can't believe how fast this is cooking along
it seems like just a minute ago we were searching for products, now we are contacting manufacturers and getting branded
@diversity_is_racism that returns thing is not that big of a hurdle honestly
it just means that when you have 10 products, start cutting the ones that have high return rates
I predict it will actually make cheaper products more favorable as there is a psychological hurdle to returning them
people will rush to return their plasma screen TV if it's broken, but not their $10 bottle of multivitamins
one school of thought is to intentionally sell cheap items because they are "impulse buy" prices and never returned, I am inclined to agree with it
usually what works best in life are the most pessimistic, cynical ideas dressed up in bulletproof marketing and smiling faces
purely curiosity and feel free to not answer, but do you have an estimate for your total buy-in cost and your projected monthly profit?
yes
buy in cost should be... up front about 3-5k depending in what order I buy tools, and another 3-5k in inventory
should break even in the first quarter
from that point I expect enough money rolling in that I honestly don't have to worry about being a doctor, just from the first two
