Some Christians like to make statues of pagan gods

2017-10-25 15:59:14 UTC

they're still pagan gods, not Christian ones

2017-10-25 15:59:44 UTC

Saints and pagan gods are totally different. Even if both represent say a meadow. The saint is a dead human in heaven and the god is a living powerful being in the meadow.

2017-10-25 16:00:21 UTC

No, the saints were characters that came from pagan deities and spirits that were adapted into the Christian canon.

2017-10-25 16:00:51 UTC

Some gods may be saints, others were turned to demons

2017-10-25 16:00:56 UTC

whatever suited them politically

2017-10-25 16:01:45 UTC

In the early days, when it was still jewish whining, they turned them to demons

2017-10-25 16:02:07 UTC

That's what's actually in scripture

2017-10-25 16:02:12 UTC

Where is the scriptural basis for sainthood?

2017-10-25 16:02:15 UTC

and that the church can declare saints?

2017-10-25 16:02:20 UTC

and that one can pray to patron saints for help?

2017-10-25 16:02:32 UTC

@sdlkfmbklfnldneg *nords become the pussy pedestal*

2017-10-25 16:02:34 UTC

I'm not saying it doesn't exist. I am asking to see it

2017-10-25 16:02:42 UTC

W-well, the Church said it, goyim!

2017-10-25 16:03:05 UTC

I THINK THE ONLY WAY TO APPROACH THE RELIGION ISSUE IS THROUGH LOOKING AT THE UNDERLYING PHILOSOPHY

2017-10-25 16:03:11 UTC

ARE WE MONIST, OR DUALIST?

2017-10-25 16:03:17 UTC

IS NATURE IN ACCORD WITH THE HEAVENS, OR NOT?

2017-10-25 16:03:20 UTC

The difference in characterization is important

2017-10-25 16:03:35 UTC

Nature is divinity is blood is faith is people.

2017-10-25 16:03:38 UTC

Dualism can be okay, if you view them as software and hardware, or as matter and behaviour

2017-10-25 16:03:43 UTC

CHRISTIANITY WILL BECOME WHAT IS NEEDED

2017-10-25 16:03:46 UTC

That's not a foolish model

2017-10-25 16:03:50 UTC

Why is he capslocked?

2017-10-25 16:03:53 UTC

ALTERNATIVELY, THE CURRENT CHURCH HAS DRIVEN AWAY ALMOST EVERYONE

2017-10-25 16:03:54 UTC

I think it will continue declining

2017-10-25 16:03:58 UTC

It's just a thing, it has to do with his phone

2017-10-25 16:04:01 UTC

a thing he does

2017-10-25 16:04:02 UTC

@sdlkfmbklfnldneg I AM USING AN APPLE //, NO SHIFT KEY

2017-10-25 16:04:11 UTC

Oh, alright.

2017-10-25 16:04:23 UTC

it's a joke

2017-10-25 16:04:23 UTC

@༺པརབྱར།བསངཇ༻ I AGREE, AT LEAST FOR THE MAINSTREAM CHURCHES

2017-10-25 16:04:26 UTC

SO THE BIG POINT IS

2017-10-25 16:04:32 UTC

WHAT DO WE ACTUALLY BELIEVE?

2017-10-25 16:04:40 UTC

AND THEN WE MUST FIGURE OUT HOW TO SUPPORT THAT WITH A RELIGION OF OUR OWN

2017-10-25 16:04:59 UTC

We need a religion that emphasizes the nation, not globalism and universalism.

2017-10-25 16:05:06 UTC

WHICH PROBABLY SHOULD INVOLVE TAKING WHAT WE HAVE, CHARLTON-ESQUE OR BLAKE-ESQUE OR ECKHART-ESQUE CHRISTIANITY, AND IMPROVING IT BY INCLUDING THE PAGAN HIERARCHY

2017-10-25 16:05:08 UTC

NOTABLY

2017-10-25 16:05:11 UTC

I wouldn't make it too political

2017-10-25 16:05:16 UTC

America's heritage is Rome, and our gods ought to be Roman.
