Not because jazz is more irritant than it has been before, actually it became more tolerable, but because it is so persistent as a form of popular art
I dislike it from a very theoretical perspective
I used to really like it until one realization set in

I have in mind more this urbanite soyboy jazz of today, but which relies on same principles
What irritates me, is that there is present exactly the same *excitement* about the jazz as if this was still the era of desegregation
it's been remarkably resilient as a symbol of hip intellectualism
60 some years and counting
I dislike it because of its rejection of scales
basically
there is a certain order to music and they shit all over it and say "let's just make noise instead lol"
how many thousands of years had to go by with people playing music that was complete disorganized hideous sounding shit, then white people invent the 12 note system and 8 note scales and make all kinds of excellent music
then jazz retards say "hey fuck all that, let's go back to the spear chucker way of just farting out random noises"
the fact that they use elaborate composition doesn't really change that for me either, it just dresses up the retardation in a more seductive form, like a high budget Disney movie such as The Croods that is designed to get your kids to think about rebelling against family and marrying foreigners
they make it look endearing so it reals you in
they make Jazz sound good so you don't notice how horrible it really is
and, worst of all, jazz seems to be the formless, shapeless canvas upon which all of the world's shitty "fusion" music is painted
it's like a tumor in sound form
jazz is like all sub-tropical music just a rhytmical shaking
it lacks that dynamism that european classical music has
