Flat earth doesn’t require gravity. Things falling down because of weight, or escalating because of less density is a result of reality. Up is up, and down is down.
It's just the way gravity works would be a bit different.
If earth is flat, perhaps our dimension is like a flat plane. Meaning that perhaps the reason things falls is like a trampoline of sorts?

Do take note that so far the reason our oceans currently work at the moment is because of how the moon gravitates around us.
If the moon was closer or much far away, temperature stability would change.
