And it should be simple as if you are as smart as you claim

If you stand on the sea and a boat drives away from you, apart of it will look like its behind the water or somesort, but if it was flat we would be able to always see the boat

using @Zane example if your on an island and you watch a boat go past into the horizon you start seeing less of the boats bottom and eventually you will just see the mast, this example i
literally disproves the theory with simple logic
