@xelph Have you ever weighed the Earth?

2019-04-01 23:29:04 UTC

so which one of you believes the earth is round

weight is an effect because of gravity

2019-04-01 23:30:13 UTC

@Noodles Prove that weight is an effect caused by gravity, please prove gravity.

2019-04-01 23:30:19 UTC

please prove mass causes and acceleration

2019-04-01 23:30:29 UTC

seismic waves prove there is an outermost metal rind submerged in water actually...

2019-04-01 23:30:37 UTC

@Noodles Because Archimedes didn't USE gravity

2019-04-01 23:30:40 UTC

Okay. I have mass. I jump. I fall.

2019-04-01 23:30:41 UTC

And his maths works just fine

2019-04-01 23:30:42 UTC

huh?

2019-04-01 23:30:48 UTC

the p waves travel through water and then back through the metal rind to reach the otherside of the earth

2019-04-01 23:30:50 UTC

buoyancy formula includes gravity lol

@Noodles This guy jumped too
1. CHANGING THE DENSITY OF THE BODY: https://imgur.com/a/uIY067X

2019-04-01 23:31:26 UTC

So you manipulate density to fly, you don't manipulate mass do you?

2019-04-01 23:31:27 UTC

2019-04-01 23:31:34 UTC

mass divided by volume

2019-04-01 23:31:44 UTC

you alter this, you change your rate of acceleration

2019-04-01 23:31:54 UTC

The reality is you are on the floor because you are more dense than air, the air is less dense than you are, you are not standing on top of a big fan, the air is not very sticky, your body doesn't have much drag, there isn't the presence of an electro static field directly above you of any significance, the electromagnetic field around you is fairly weak, you are not being shot up into the air by repeated lead shots, there isn't a large luminoscity of waves coming from underneath you and you are not cold enough for the aether to pull you up.

2019-04-01 23:32:36 UTC

@xelph the earth is flat. get over it

2019-04-01 23:33:05 UTC

there is pressure the deeper you go underwater because of the ``weight`` of something

2019-04-01 23:33:10 UTC

or just something with mass

2019-04-01 23:33:15 UTC

even gas

2019-04-01 23:33:30 UTC

anything buoyant has some correlation with weight

2019-04-01 23:33:41 UTC

or else there wouldn't really be a downward force

2019-04-01 23:33:43 UTC

So how do I get something with the same MASS to have a different WEIGHT? How do I manipulate the "gravitational field" ?

2019-04-01 23:33:47 UTC

and an upward force because of difference in pressure

2019-04-01 23:33:47 UTC

pressure gradients that stop rising at a certain point for certain elements (example clouds) are only possible if there is a limit as well... if there is an equidistant capstone source for instance

2019-04-01 23:33:50 UTC

@Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart I would like to talk and see your take on earth

2019-04-01 23:34:01 UTC

the glass sky pushing that limit even further down

2019-04-01 23:34:09 UTC

Archimedes just took weight, didn't even think about "gravity"

2019-04-01 23:34:10 UTC

@FrankDaShank101 hold on a sec

2019-04-01 23:34:15 UTC

gotta get my mic

2019-04-01 23:34:23 UTC

How do you make something with the same MASS weigh LESS ?

2019-04-01 23:34:26 UTC

yeah, because weight is an effect on gravity
