if you have a bird that has more babies and overall has more of its self its alot more likely you will see that bird around than another bird right?

Then why can you accelerate in a horizontal direction?

a helium balloon would have a negative weight because it is less DENSE than air

Your density doesn't change just because you curled up into a ball.

your volume has changed, your distribution of your mass over the water is more distributed when your spread out
