lunar and solar ecplise is them going in front of each other
And then of course there's the curve, allowing light to stay over it and refracted internally off of the atmosphere
Where's the proof that the sun and moon are the same size?
out of interest do you guys think mensa is part of the illuminati or whatever it is?
The idea it takes several minutes for sun light to reach us, is based on the theory it’s 93 million miles away. And nobody can determine the sun or moon’s real size. Anybody saying different is straight up lying.
cant determinin it exactly
We can and we have determined it
but they have more resources than flat earth science
I assure you, nobody has actually measured distances or sizes of celestial objects. It’s all theory.
then why are there space telescopes?
context of that?
No, because we can predict the movement of the other planets in the solar system. That's why we are able to land stuff on Mars.
i think we have the diameter of the moon pretty nailed down
Cosmology isn't astronomy
if you believe science
How accurate is it?
Exact.
What all does it predict?
its not exact
@Derek Nelson didnt you just say we couldnt measure bodies in space exactly?
"I assure you, nobody has actually measured distances or sizes of celestial objects. It’s all theory."
Then how did the astrolabe work?
How were they able to predict this stuff?

If they couldn't measure it, that is?
That isn’t measuring their sizes or distances. It’s simply predictability in movement.
The shape of the straw is not the same as the shape of the nozzle.
There's less of a surface area for the air to push the vehicle forward

Yeah sure whatever
Lol.
Such shit
@Human Sheeple didnt someone just send you a link of rockets working in a vacuum a while ago
and you ignored it
Why is that not CGI, but NASA's photos are?
@tripolarbear post it up please
that experiment is inconclusive because its not done well enough with the rocket
