2019-04-06 17:23:47 UTC

looks can be deceiving

2019-04-06 17:23:59 UTC

yeah ive seen the iss myself through my friends telescope

2019-04-06 17:24:15 UTC

uh

2019-04-06 17:24:24 UTC

@eletrick33 Is that pokeball rotating?

2019-04-06 17:24:35 UTC

Not truly because it is pixels and pixels are 2d space

2019-04-06 17:24:35 UTC

i think so

2019-04-06 17:24:48 UTC
2019-04-06 17:25:03 UTC

You also see this through a telescope

2019-04-06 17:25:07 UTC

Why is that?

2019-04-06 17:25:17 UTC

If it was a 3d then yes it would rotate

2019-04-06 17:25:26 UTC

wait thats not pluto last time i checked we dont have a picture that clear of it

2019-04-06 17:25:32 UTC

but whatever

2019-04-06 17:25:35 UTC

Because you need 2 eyes and 2 separate angles to determine a third dimension.

2019-04-06 17:26:07 UTC

Maybe I should test if my telescope can see satellites clear to prove it

2019-04-06 17:26:14 UTC

But it is not the best

2019-04-06 17:26:32 UTC

Iss was not sent up in one piece

2019-04-06 17:26:36 UTC

yeah theres a thing called a telescope

2019-04-06 17:26:38 UTC

ask the Vatican to use one of their telescopes

2019-04-06 17:26:40 UTC

XD

2019-04-06 17:26:43 UTC

Even without a telescope, you can see satellites in low orbit catching the sun shortly after sunset on any clear, dark night with good viewing. ... Now if you mean whycan't we see probes in lunar orbit, they are far too small and far too far away.

@Tejiu The Gecko Because you need 2 eyes and 2 separate angles to determine a third dimension. If you use a telescope, you're only using one eye and cannot determine anything in the sky to be three dimensional.

2019-04-06 17:26:51 UTC

you can get an iss tracker on your phone

2019-04-06 17:26:51 UTC

see what they tell you

2019-04-06 17:26:55 UTC

ye

2019-04-06 17:27:08 UTC

Meant to tag you in my comment above

2019-04-06 17:27:17 UTC

oh

2019-04-06 17:27:29 UTC

wait wait wait wait

2019-04-06 17:27:31 UTC

You need both eyes for three dimensions @eletrick33

2019-04-06 17:27:39 UTC

no you dont

2019-04-06 17:27:44 UTC

Yes you do
