?
you know why the sunset is red
How does earth's atmosphere make it orange red
the same effect is applied to the moon if the paritcle count is high
leviticus 18:22
**Leviticus 18:22 - King James Version with Apocrypha (KJVA)**
```Dust
<22> Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. ```
we get them often in europe from dust storms
Rayleigh scattering you're going to say let me guess
Dust storms? 😀
not directly in europe
Orange dust storm
from sahara
What about a yellow moon
hear me out
And blue
its not from the dust that changes it, its the wavelengths
but blue is more dominant
so when the sun is shining at noon its blue
but blue cannot travel far through atmos
sometimes you can capture a rare green flash at sunset
its rare though
might be vids out there you can see
Yeah I seen it
yeah thats the same effect that causes the changing in colours through the atmos
So why green
you can get a scattering prism and visually see that different lights produce different wavelengths we can see
That's not after red
we can see 3 wavelengths
green blue and red
and the gradient between the three
some animals can see a higher bracket of the spectrum and some lower and so on
it just so happens out eyes process only 3 colours
Why doesn't anything else change colour?
Like planes etc
it would if its light had to travel a vast distance through thick atmosphere
but they dont reflect much light or produce much
