It makes sense to me at least that partials would assemble themselves attracting equally from every side, which would form a sphere like shape not a concave or flat object. Thats how i see it.

I see it as.. We're inside a sphere all land water and us pushed down to the edge of the sphere, sun and moon make circles above our head which is reflected and displaced down here
