the thing is, he his thankful, he realize that we have a lot to offer for his family and children
especially in term of educations
I'm sure the government has alot on their plate already
but he don't want all this for free and would rather prefer to work hard to obtain this instead of being a burden for society
well the administration handling the CESEDA here has nothing else to do, litterally.
they are lacking effectives, but then again, there are people that are willing to work in here and can't.
because it's a bureaucratic mess
I still don't see getting a free ride for a while until the government files your papers is a problem
it's a problem when you understand that you're a freeloader and you're despised because of that.
I like that he wants to contribute though
Well anyways I've heard that jobs are scarce
and at the same time, there are jobs that needs more effectives
in many fields, agriculture, medical (especially caregiver, we recruits spanish, etc)
and in administrations too
it's a complex mess
and those people didn't deserved to be treated like that
they would much rather wait a couple of month and start to work or at least do some voluntering to contribute back
not be parked in ghettos, projects, etc like beasts and be sidelined like they are actually
I realize the few I met can't represent a majority or the whole refugees, but still it's a sentiments that was shared more than once
I get it
Its not supposed to be extravagant
Slow systems usually come with shit like that
yeah, they fleed the horror of wars and I'm sure that the situation they live right now is much, much better. But from my perspective, it's not the way we should treat human beings
I mean, there's nothing done to help them to integrate, participate, etc in their foster country
they meet a social worker twice a week, they can't really go out of their ghettos because they can't do anything (no money) and they have no ID
Still beats death
and that's pretty much their live since they arrived
true, but would you want to be in their shoes though ?
Hell i'd kill to get some foreign government to give me free shit and a bed to sleep on
they have pretty much the same rights as people that are in prison right now.
cool, they are alive, fed, they have a bed... wow
Especially if i lived in a place like the middle east
Its not even close to prision
well, go in another country and commit a crime. you'll get your free meals and a bed.
you'll even have brand new clothes
They're free to leave if they choose
not even
as I said, they are parked
they can't really go out because they barely speak a few french words, they have no ID, nothing
if they go out before they get their status recognized with a piece of paper, they are illegals
