^ no it's not. FLOPS is a measurement that's really helpful and it can really be a deal breaker depending on what you're trying to achieve. This measurement might be a bit overrated for games, but it also define the complexity of the scene that can be draw on your screen. Some games might take advantage of that without realistic graphics you know ?
