to be fair I never wrote anything down when I was in uni... courses on outdated Java and the like were usless imho

so I never cramed before exam

I was already programming back then though, seems like Chaos will have some issues

but I fail to see how the name of the person behind Quicksort will help you

it's efficiant in a lot of case but it's not the most efficient in every case... sometimes, a simple bubblesort is faster

especially when your data are already close to sorted

well there's no programming test in admission for the most university in France

it just require you to have the A Level certif'

which is kinda dumb

Math, French, History, etc

stupid stuff like those

there's no proper courses to learn how to code in secondary school

you may have option about that if you're passing the Scientific version of the "GCE" (it's called Baccalauréat here)

but not every high school have that option

there's no A level in anything close to programming
