We had the NES Metal Gear and MGS1.
It would be great if you had the nostalgia of the old games I guess, but as long as you discovered something you like, it's all good
it's fine, the MSX emulator is crappy
the game runs smooth in MGS3 HD
I can't remember how well it ran on PS2, but I didn't notice any issues.

btw for all of you who didn't know, MGS1 was dubbed in french and it's really famous in here
as one of the worst dub ever
they surpassed the over the top acting of the original game and made it so bad that it's still recognized as a turd nowadays
