I'll be receiving a new mobo, 8 gigs of ram, a 7th gen (I believe) i5 and a gtx 1050
that's a good enough PC
although the graphics card is a *bit* weak
it should run modern games well without any problem

Compared to what
maybe in Low-Medium settings
and some games in ultra
it will run 2015 and before games in max settings no problem
but current games might need fiddlin with settings to run at 60+fps
