More than 7 million voter registrations appear to be registered in two states simultaneously, according to data obtained
by the Washington Free Beacon.

The new voter data was gathered from the Kansas-run interstate voter registration crosscheck program, which is used to
identify “possible duplicate registrations among states.”

The program began in December 2005 and conducted its first crosscheck in 2006. It is administered by the office of

An Austrian town has put a temporary ban on refugees after an alleged rape of a 15-year-old girl.

The girl was walking home alone April 25 when three men attacked her. The local prosecutor in Tulln, a town of about
15,000 people, ordered 59 male asylum seekers to submit DNA samples after the victims’ testimony.

An Afghan and a Somali citizen have since been arrested. A third suspect remains on the run.

Peter Eisenschenk, Tulln’s mayor, informed the regional government Tuesday that the town will not accept any refugees

The 26-year-old Navy veteran who went on a drug-fueled car rampage in New York’s Times Square, killing one woman and injuring 22 other people, now says in a jail interview that he attempted to “fix his life” and sought help but failed to receive it on time.

In an interview with the New York Post, the suspect Richard Rojas made emotional pleas for forgiveness, while at the same time remaining seemingly dumbfounded about Thursday’s events, which he now claims he cannot recall.

Rojas says he attempted to consult a mental health counselor at a local veterans’ center, but the specialist was not available until Monday, May 22.

Speaking from his home in Jerusalem Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Nentanyahu welcomed President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania to the Holy City. The two leaders gave remarks about the issues facing the region and bolstered the strong alliance between the countries.

President Donald Trump's proposal to sell half of the U.S. strategic oil reserve highlights a decline in the biggest oil
user's reliance on imports - and a weaning off OPEC crude - as its domestic production soars.

The U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) SPR-STK-T-EIA, the world's largest, holds about 688 million barrels of crude
in heavily guarded underground caverns in Louisiana and Texas.

The White House budget, delivered to Congress on Tuesday, proposes to start selling SPR oil in fiscal 2018, which begins
on Oct. 1. Under the proposal, the sales would generate $500 million in the first year and gradually rise over the
following years.

The United States has more leeway to release SPR crude now, as its production C-OUT-T-EIA has risen 49 percent over the
past five years.

Although the figure is equivalent only to the output of a mid-sized field, it sends a powerful signal about the United
States' decreasing need for imports as its own production reaches new highs.

Former CIA director John Brennan said Tuesday that while President Trump may have violated protocol by sharing
intelligence with Russian diplomats, the real damage came from leaks of the incident to the press.
