The mother of a schoolgirl rape victim has said Manchester bomber Salman Abedi was part of a group who waged a two-month

Saturday night, eight people were murdered in rural Mississippi at three different locations. None of the victims have been publicly identified, aside from one — Lincoln County Deputy William Durr.

Authorities arrested suspect Willie Cory Godbolt early Sunday morning. The timeline of the killings isn't clear, however it appears the murder of Durr was the last in the sequence.

Prior to Godbolt being taken away, a reporter for The Clarion-Ledger spoke with him on camera:

Godbolt [said] that he had gone to a residence off Lee Road in Bogue Chitto in order to talk about his children. At some point neighbors called police, and that's when the deputy arrived to try to calm the situation.

That's when Godbolt allegedly killed the deputy. Speaking with the reporter, the suspect apologized:

"My pain wasn't designed for him. He was just there," Godbolt said of the deputy. "We was talking about me trying to take the children home ... somebody called the officer ... that's what they do, they intervene. It cost him his life. I'm sorry."

When the reporter asked him what his intentions were, Godbolt flatly stated: "Death. My intentions was to have God kill me. I ran out of bullets ... Suicide by cop was my intention. I ain't fit to live. Not after what I've done."

Eighth grade students from South Orange Middle School in South Orange, New Jersey were on a school trip to Wasshington
D.C. on Friday when they were given a very special opportunity: a photo-op with Speaker Paul Ryan. Under normal
circumstances, many students would leap for the chance to take a photo with the third most powerful politician in the
country.

Not these kids.

Close to 100 8th graders refused to take a photo with the Speaker and instead sat in a parking lot across the street.

Officials in the Boyertown Area School District in Pennsylvania, who have been sued for instituting what amounts to coed
showers in their locker rooms, suddenly now are concerned about “student privacy.”

The lawsuit charges that without any notice to students or their parents, school officials “secretly opened” their sex-
specific restrooms and locker rooms to students of the opposite sex.

The male student notified school officials, who informed him that they now authorize students who identify themselves as
the opposite sex to use whichever locker room they wish. Rather than protect the student’s privacy, officials told him
he must “tolerate” the presence of a female and make changing clothes with students of the opposite sex as “natural” as
he can.

Now the school district has released a statement to WND revealing that its board met recently and “unanimously approved
a proposal by an area architectural firm to study how to possibly enhance student privacy in the high school’s locker

A shelter-in-place order was issued Tuesday after a person tried to turn in possible explosives at the Tenderloin Police
Station at Eddy and Jones streets in San Francisco, officials said.

“At 12:15 p.m. a citizen found and brought to the Tenderloin station possible explosive devices,” said Officer Giselle
Talkoff, a spokeswoman for the San Francisco Police Department.

She added that the person was trying to turn in the materials, and that there had been some evacuations in the area,
while others were asked to shelter in place. The Tenderloin Police Station was also evacuated. A bomb squad was sent to
the station to secure the possible explosives, she said.

The San Francisco Department of Emergency Management issued a shelter-in-place order for the area around Eddy and
Leavenworth streets just after 12:30 p.m. on Twitter, and the all-clear was given about 1:23 p.m.
