There getting furloughed because of these bullshit restrictions and there’s not enough people to sustain the infrastructure they put in place for a rush that never came

she's there for multiple day shifts there

since she's in a covid ward she's always working

I DK, in Florida they have laid off almost a third of the nursing staff

same types of people that get sick everywhere in the US

florida is a shithole

And they have been laid off for a week or two now

Now that they are going to start doing nonessential procedures again they are about to get back to work

everyone nurse in this state is working a ton

It’s also the same story in Mississippi, here in Kentucky, and in Tennessee

nobody is laid off and all of our hospitals are working overtime

I straight up do not see my fiancee for 4 day stretches at a time

and when she does come home ocassionally she's asleep for like 20 hours

my dad's private clinic is swamped and my mom's medical research is also the same

Shutting down our entire country the way you would shut down major population centers in their surrounding areas is what is causing our financial depression

my older brother is a doctor in Boston and he even contracted it

cause everyone there is getting it

and the hospital he works at is at capacity
