But your stat is wrong
You have a stat about gulags and then go on to describe kulaks
They’re different things
Who me?
No
Oh
@Deleted User Hmm, let me check that really quick
@Deleted User Nope, my stat is correct
Yea the Kulaks were a groups of landowners and bourgeoisie that started burning the crops and killing the livestock when collectivisation started
Lol so you’re just talking about peasant villages?
You feel that’s a relevant stat?
Like are you just talking about the harvest of sorrow?
Which pretty much caused the death of a lot of Ukrainians following the famine
@Deleted User Did you look it up? Google will give you the same stat
So, the harvest of sorrow was really a centralized urbanization plan
@Yusa it’s very possible you’re using a source that made the same mistake
They are often confused
But the idea of “x people died in the kulaks” is like saying “x people died in the countryside”
Not really it was a plan to stop a famine that happened every 5-7 years
@Boo uuuuh no.
Just factually inaccurate
@Deleted User Can you link me to your source? I googled it and all the sources I found agree with my stat
uhhhhh yes
Factually accurate
Am I arguing with a tankie and a Nazi here
I can get the stats real quick if you doubt me
It's not that hard to get
@Yusa you’re missing my point. Your argument doesn’t follow from your stat
@Boo yeah, I’m sure there wasn’t famine after everyone died. I’m telling you the policy goal.
Everyone? So like everyone suddenly just gone poof in Ukraine?
@Deleted User Did you read my whole post?
No, Stalin hauled away all the grain and equipment as part of his urbanization plan
And millions died
Not “gone poof”
They starved to death
Again wrong but really if you doubt me I can get you the stats and documents
Read a Robert Conquests’ Harvest of Sorrow
Sure, I’d love to see population stats for Ukraine
Do you have those?
Or just grain yields?
