They are in the worst boat of all time right now, sitting in an eradication boat metaphorically speaking.

The Persian empire wiped out nations & produced + advertised slavery.

Islam is used as both an excuse and weapon for purposes in 1st world countries.

There are some good areas, Dubai in the UAE for instance. Relatively speaking it is very similar to western culture, but it is only a small chunk of the greater Middle East that is known for : Terrorists, paedophilia, brainwashing, slavery etc.

Egypt, you could say in *ancient times* contributed a vast amount but that is stretching a bit.

Before Islam, the middle east was nothing like it is today, it really is Islam and it's Muslims that are the problem.
If the middle east did away with it, they could maybe rejoin humanity.

But 1,400 years of breeding with cousins takes its toll on populace. and when most Islamic countries have an average IQ close to Africa's, you know you are not onto a winner.
