2019-04-28 02:05:37 UTC

Lol, do I hear Minecraft playing in the background

idk anything about brexit and i would like to hear the basics of both sides can someone help me

2019-04-29 02:29:49 UTC

Brexit is loved

2019-04-29 02:29:55 UTC

By both radical of the spectrum

2019-04-29 02:30:07 UTC

Far left thinks it is a good thing for their economy

2019-04-29 02:30:18 UTC

Far right think it is a good thing for their society

2019-04-29 02:30:28 UTC

However brexit is hated by the majority center

2019-04-29 12:16:52 UTC

Not entirely true

2019-04-29 12:45:20 UTC

Because a large chunk of us don’t want the British government getting more power after what they did with what they already have. We want Europe to try to keep them in check

@SideshowKaz? The British Government is shit but Mainland Europe is no better

I'm in Spain right now

And it's in political chaos

The former ruling Party was kicked out due to Embezzlement

A new Nationalist Party hs gained the most seats since the days of Franco

Meanwhile, the French President is hated by his people and is acting like King Louis XVI

Germany is on the brink because people have lost trust in the two largest party and the economy is almost at a recession

Sweden has an unstable alliance which only exists to keep out the Nationalist Party

2019-04-29 13:28:09 UTC

And here Europe’s sent over loads of people to check on how the UK treats the disabled but the UK government just keeps making things harder and killing more of us

This Spanish elections, people with disability were almost not allowed to vote

Out of curiosity, what disability do you have? @SideshowKaz

2019-04-29 13:31:00 UTC

Registered blind and I’m severely dyslexic

Ah ok

My mother works in a school and she helps kids with disabilities (usually Autism)

2019-04-29 13:34:44 UTC

Honestly I’m worried for the descaled here because if anything else goes wrong we are going to get hit bad and first just like with austerity and theres no more we can take

As much as I hate Corbyn, the Tories are no better and my area would be fucked by them

2019-04-29 13:38:49 UTC

I think Corbyn is playing too much of a political game

2019-04-29 13:39:07 UTC

Rather than trying to help the people

2019-04-29 13:39:22 UTC

But his party for the most part seems to have some good ideas

Labour is going to end up appealing too much to the upper middle class "liberals" rather than the Working Class and those who actually need support if Labour isn't careful

2019-04-29 13:41:01 UTC

Yeah

The North of England always gets screwed when Labour focusses on the upper middle class liberals

2019-04-29 13:42:33 UTC

One thing is Europe funds a lot of stuff in the north that the government cant be bothered to touch

The problem is, the North don't want to depend on Europe. They want a British Government that runs Britain. That's the problem that the North has

The North is Eurosceptic but also hates the Tories

Which is why many of them are predicted to vote Brexit Party in the Euro elections

2019-04-29 13:45:22 UTC

Our government wont be able to fix things in time or if ever or if they can be bothered. And who gets blamed? Europe despite the fact they tried to fix things

I mean the EU is heavily funded by Britain

2019-04-29 13:48:23 UTC

Oddly I also didn’t hear much about the Irish boarder from remainers before the referendum and I remember the end of the troubles and being 9 years old and wanting to go on a science museum field trip with my family afraid to let me go because it was in London and well the IRA were quite active at that point I wouldn’t screw with that peace process

The Irish Border Problem could probably fixed

If we didn't have idiots like May negotiating
