Idiots
This will be interesting
2021 will be interesting
after the transition period is over.
Yes
I think just this year in general is interesting
Lol people talking about a world war that wonβt happen, what next?
@Katze Miaulitzer We leave on January 31st
And the EU Parliament will vote on the divorce deal a week before it
As Boris Johnson has complete control over Parliament now, the EU Parliament will 95% vote for the deal to be passed, not wanting to risk a no deal or looking like the bad guys
The deadline for the EU to do anything now is December 31st
The ik
That why I asked on the 31st?
Yes
The SNP are trying to group two different Spanish Parties into one just to insult a Labour candidate
Lisa Nandy said that Labour should take the PSOE approach to CataluΓ±a when talking about Scotland
And yet the SNP said that she said she wants protesters to be beaten (despite the fact that was PPs policy, not PSOEs)
blacked
Hey, at least the taxpayer are being refunded
Lisa Nandy has just ensured her party will never win in Scotland again, she compared Scotland the oldest nation state in Europe with its own constitution, its own crown, its monarchy, its own law and national football team to Catalonia a region in Spain. @TheBritishGamer β€π (Meh)
Now they gave up their titles
Whilst they got the huge wedding
@D7V1D I mean it was a Principality of Aragon and identifies more with the old Kingdom of Aragon than the modern Kingdom of Spain
Spain is mainly controlled by the Kingdoms of Castille y Leon
Aragon joined via a marriage
And even then they were more like two seperate Kingdoms ruled by one Monarch
The Catalan counties were always given a devolved status by Aragon
Comparing a former principality of a now legally extinct kingdom to Scotland the oldest kingdom in Europe is an absurdity. @TheBritishGamer β€π (Meh)
@D7V1D Extinct in name only. The name "Kingdom of Spain" is misleading. Aragon is much more different than Castille or Lyon or any of the other Kingdoms
Spain just doesn't like the idea of devolved Kingdoms
Well, more like Franco was super anti-devolution
And it stuck
is brexit good or bad
What you make it
i
Great Britain is the united kingdom of the Kingdoms of Scotland and England, both kingdoms still have legal status and both kingdoms are superior in rank to the united kingdom that is Great Britain. Spain is one single kingdom. Castille was abolished into four regions. Aragon had a similar fate.
Spain acts like it's one Kingdom. It really shouldn't be when you look at it in detail
It's why they've had so many problems with Basque and CataluΓ±a
Great Britain and Spain should adopt federal systems.
