i just get very suspicious when i see 2nd/3rd world countries selling SOEs to foreigners and the americans are complimenting them

I don't see any clear evidences on whether or not they sell them to foreign enterprises

As you have already know, our GDP is low, maybe the state are selling off those SOEs because they're inefficient and to pay off debts and do as listed above

The people don't care about Marxism/Leninism or Communism and Socialism and they certainly won't start another bloody civil war just because the government isn't what they claim to be

There are a clear trait of nationalism in Vietnamese society and even though the government is "Socialist", they are in fact Nationalistic
