These articles are weird
It says that nazis were far right
But then says that they were based in liberal democracy
that's because the far right label is entirely contradictory
For gods sake, Hitler busted the unions so he could *socialize* the goddamn economy.
It also says that liberal democracy is like western democracy
GG @Send_Noodles??, you just advanced to level 3!
You realize that the political spectrum is shitty because it doesn’t show the difference between economy
And with society
You can be economically left while being societally right and Vice verse
So basically citizens were able to go into the open market and they also had freedoms like American
Except that the Nazi's weren't even socially right wing all that much
But then the nazis were still able to take away personal freedoms of the citizens
Unless you're referring to something else
<:waitwhat:583236680903950355> nazis are weird
Yeah thats, kind of a big thing to forget about the nazis
The neo nazis today refer to themselves as liberals and leftists
but at the same time they did things that would be considered progressive today
But still practice basic right wing practices
like fucking animal rights, for one
All it really does is allow the person using it to try and pull the "what are you, supporting the Nazis" card
Nazis actually didn't believe in, right wing or left wing... It was just Germany and they wanted to expand
Sort of. They took advantage and used parts of both sides to advance and to maintain power
That's why left wing and right wing don't make sense in Europe
That's what they did with capitalism
Hoenstly I'd make the argument that they had more left than right in them.
They took the good parts of capitalism and used it in fascism economy
Also the differences in the political spectrums across countries should be accounted for
If it was just entirely socialist they would have lost the war early
That's why American politics is easier
Also the economy wasn't really capitalistic, it was socialized from what i recall
The economy was under the control of the party
Isn't that state capitalism?
Like modern China
They were capitalist but not enough to call themselves a capitalism country because nazis hated capitalism(because of America)
?????
I don't understand the economics of nazi Germany
Basically, it's a mix of socialism and capitalism
But more socialism
So it wasn't a lie when they called themselves socialists?
