it's largely seasonal
air pollution eventually dissipates regardless
the only areas that are bad are the ones that are being constantly replenished with new smog
Yes and those areas that are bad effect the entire world as a whole
it's not really permanent
clears up pretty quick
the stuff volcanos pump out is far more toxic
nature is used to it
Yeah, the carbon gets absorbed into our oceans which rises the acidity of the ocean making it impossible for shellfish to grow.
Which creates a domino affect that hurts almost every species of sea creature
The carbon volcanoes pump out is nothing compared to the damage we are doing right now.
you'd be surprised
Think about the volcano eruptions that have happened in the last year VS how many times A coal power plant has come online in china.
there have been many occasions where the earth has basically been a fireball and life survived
Also volcano eruptions happen in sparse areas where it is easy to run away from. Cities are everywhere unless you want to live in Antarctica
Yeah life "adapted" because the changes happened over thousands of years. We have done the same amount of damage in 50 years.
the cities need to go
So we should just demolish every city in the world?
most of them
CIties again help with the climate issue because it is much easier to fuel, transport, grow, and maintain humans and human goods when they are all close together.
we have too many humans
I'm not saying you should move to the city, I'm saying we don't necessarily need to get rid of them in order to survive. Yes overpopulation is an issue and it is putting a massive strain on earth's resources but sadly it is very hard to tell people they can't have more than one child so overpopulation is a very complicated issue, especially with medical technology advancing year after year.
you don't give them a choice
✂️ snip snip
Lol
no more babies for them
Problem solved
"The COVID-19 pandemic has caused Google to rethink our responsibility in another global crisis, and today we are immediately ending our funding of all climate change-denying organizations."
Also I saw this in the climate news channel.
google needs to be broken up anyway
It's just nice to see a big company trying to prevent the spread of misinformation.
no it seems more like they are trying to distract from the real issues
such as a virus
they are not the underdog
Well according to google they did this in light of covid-19 so I don't think they're trying to "distract" us from the real issues.
covid-19 has nothing to do with the climate
"Over the past few weeks, the world has come to a halt, our healthcare systems have been overwhelmed, and countless people are experiencing food and housing insecurity. This crisis has caused Google to reflect on how critical it is to respond to another global emergency: climate change."
This is another snippet from the post
yeah, that's pretty cringe of them
whoever wrote that should be fired
Cringe? It's cringe to stop the spread of bullshit skeptics?
