@Pelth You really think people are not having kids because they're afraid of a warmer environment for their children? You don't think a more logical reason why people are having less children is because they're afraid of their kids living in a toxic and polluted environment?

2020-04-04 12:57:53 UTC

no

2020-04-04 12:58:02 UTC

Then why did you say that

2020-04-04 12:58:35 UTC

unless you live in india, that's not something you have to worry much about

2020-04-04 13:00:10 UTC

The reason you *think* that is because in India pollution levels are so high that it is easily visible. You might not be able to see it but high carbon levels are present in pretty much every densely-populated area of the world.

2020-04-04 13:00:40 UTC

a large part of it is due to incompetence

2020-04-04 13:01:19 UTC

they dump bodies and sewage in the same rivers many people drink and bathe in

2020-04-04 13:02:56 UTC

I was talking about air pollution

2020-04-04 13:03:41 UTC

india has air pollution also

2020-04-04 13:03:48 UTC

mostly due to incompetence as well

2020-04-04 13:03:57 UTC

it's largely seasonal

2020-04-04 13:04:20 UTC

air pollution eventually dissipates regardless

2020-04-04 13:04:53 UTC

the only areas that are bad are the ones that are being constantly replenished with new smog

2020-04-04 13:06:09 UTC

Yes and those areas that are bad effect the entire world as a whole

2020-04-04 13:06:18 UTC

it's not really permanent

2020-04-04 13:06:23 UTC

clears up pretty quick

2020-04-04 13:07:03 UTC

the stuff volcanos pump out is far more toxic

2020-04-04 13:07:14 UTC

nature is used to it

2020-04-04 13:07:17 UTC

Yeah, the carbon gets absorbed into our oceans which rises the acidity of the ocean making it impossible for shellfish to grow.

2020-04-04 13:07:39 UTC

Which creates a domino affect that hurts almost every species of sea creature

2020-04-04 13:08:22 UTC

The carbon volcanoes pump out is nothing compared to the damage we are doing right now.

2020-04-04 13:08:42 UTC

you'd be surprised

2020-04-04 13:09:06 UTC

Think about the volcano eruptions that have happened in the last year VS how many times A coal power plant has come online in china.

2020-04-04 13:09:45 UTC

there have been many occasions where the earth has basically been a fireball and life survived

2020-04-04 13:10:03 UTC

Also volcano eruptions happen in sparse areas where it is easy to run away from. Cities are everywhere unless you want to live in Antarctica

2020-04-04 13:10:44 UTC

Yeah life "adapted" because the changes happened over thousands of years. We have done the same amount of damage in 50 years.

2020-04-04 13:10:44 UTC

the cities need to go

2020-04-04 13:11:05 UTC

So we should just demolish every city in the world?

2020-04-04 13:11:11 UTC

most of them

2020-04-04 13:11:48 UTC

CIties again help with the climate issue because it is much easier to fuel, transport, grow, and maintain humans and human goods when they are all close together.

2020-04-04 13:12:01 UTC

why should we be doing that

2020-04-04 13:12:06 UTC

we have too many humans

2020-04-04 13:13:28 UTC

I'm not saying you should move to the city, I'm saying we don't necessarily need to get rid of them in order to survive. Yes overpopulation is an issue and it is putting a massive strain on earth's resources but sadly it is very hard to tell people they can't have more than one child so overpopulation is a very complicated issue, especially with medical technology advancing year after year.

2020-04-04 13:13:44 UTC

you don't give them a choice

2020-04-04 13:14:01 UTC

✂️ snip snip

2020-04-04 13:14:07 UTC

Lol

2020-04-04 13:14:07 UTC

no more babies for them

2020-04-04 13:14:19 UTC

Problem solved

2020-04-04 13:15:22 UTC

"The COVID-19 pandemic has caused Google to rethink our responsibility in another global crisis, and today we are immediately ending our funding of all climate change-denying organizations."

Also I saw this in the climate news channel.

2020-04-04 13:15:52 UTC

google needs to be broken up anyway

2020-04-04 13:16:54 UTC

It's just nice to see a big company trying to prevent the spread of misinformation.
