"the mandate of heaven" is essentially the same as a social contract
The King or Queen
might I add
tech, i know all the tv shows have a nice monarchy but they tended to be harsh
propaganda
Did you think the Americans were really revolting against taxes on King George?
King George literally didn't raise any taxes during the French and Indian War
and fighting for independence
He wanted every Americans to be able to survive despite a war on their backyard
But these American colonists said NO FK U
I WANT TAX-FREE TEA
REEEE
Not to mention the british monarch respected the sovereign of the Indians that lived in the North American continent
yet the American colonists said NO I WANT MORE LAND
I will travel beyond the west and claim what is mine
king george had a rule where if you served in the military and you got injured but didnt die you ha to pay money to the crown
based
thats monarchy
makes sense
military training cost a shit ton
is ridiculous
and you got "injured"
makes absolute sense to keep the military spending at a minimum
even if you got a job back after the war you still had to pay money
A King does not hypothetically rule in bad taste.
He never does
Bad kings only arise when his or her mental state is disappearing
This doesn't sound very Libertarian
The ideal Libertarian is a monarchy
If the Libertarians are all about ensuring the freedom to life, liberty, and property.
Then becoming your own King over your property
is the ultimate libertarian dream
the laws of a monarch can only be undone by a monarch
As it should be.
The King does not rule in bad taste must I remind you.
space monarchy is the same as earth monarchy lol
If you had a king in perfect mental state, he would not be a tyrant.
However if you had a president or prime minister in a perfect mental state for a democracy
That's pretty hard to come by though
