He will be another bernie sander'ed

2019-06-13 03:32:17 UTC

Joe Biden instantly receives 1/6 headups progress to winning primaries while everybody is starting from 0 or with single-digit superdelegates

2019-06-13 03:34:03 UTC

I literally believe Yang is a shill for the Republican party

2019-06-13 03:34:15 UTC

to alienate center-left Democrats into leaning toward Republicans

2019-06-13 03:35:05 UTC

why else would conservative establishment media pick up on yang a lot

2019-06-13 03:35:09 UTC

instead of liberal establishment

2019-06-13 08:24:25 UTC

@Techpriest they pick up on him because he has good pragmatic policies and dosen't engage in identity politics shitslinging

2019-06-13 08:24:46 UTC

For example Shapiro asked all the 2020 democrats to come on his show and Yang was the only one who agreed too

2019-06-13 08:26:14 UTC

@Darman We won't run out of money, with the measure's he's putting forward the sum will shrink a fair bit because its opt in and replaces other benefits (aside from disability) and he's planning to add a federal VAT (at only half the level of european countries before you say that's unfeasible) to help fund it

2019-06-13 08:27:43 UTC

Plus he's planning on making cuts to spending in other areas through decriminalizing opioids and pardoning non violent drug offenders to Help reduce spending on war on drugs and focus the priority towards dealers rather than users

2019-06-13 08:28:00 UTC

Plus the extra tax revenue from Legalized marijuana

2019-06-13 08:28:38 UTC

And when you look at the proportion of the federal budget that goes towards the military its far more than this dividend would cost and doesn't contribute nearly as much to the lives of normal americans

2019-06-13 08:29:32 UTC

So when you look at it the US really does have the money just nobody wants to admit it because they either see it as some kind of socialism or they're brainwashed into thinking that the world is still a zero sum game and if someone else is winning out you must be losing out

2019-06-13 14:49:14 UTC

Based trump lite

2019-06-13 15:47:14 UTC

The only similarity between trump and yang is that they're political outsiders

2019-06-13 16:04:33 UTC

nah

2019-06-13 16:04:36 UTC

shit ton of similarities

2019-06-13 16:04:49 UTC

They both try to appeal thru the middle class that have been disfranchised by both parties

2019-06-13 16:05:01 UTC

The middle class isnt dominantly Republican nor is it dominantly Democrat

2019-06-13 16:05:36 UTC

If Yang tried running on a Republican platform, he would get btfo by religion

2019-06-13 16:05:43 UTC

However he would have a better chance in the primaries

2019-06-13 16:05:48 UTC

than if he tried to run in the Democrat primaries

2019-06-13 16:11:18 UTC

People who vote for Yang are lazy fucks

2019-06-13 16:11:27 UTC

Simple

2019-06-13 16:16:23 UTC

@Techpriest The way I see it they've both identified the problems right but Yang has solutions, Trump has bandaid fixes and policies which sound good but don't help

2019-06-13 16:27:49 UTC

((Yang has solutions))

2019-06-13 16:27:52 UTC

like what?

2019-06-13 16:28:15 UTC

If you look at these top 3 policies already

2019-06-13 16:28:28 UTC

Universal Basic Income
Medicare for All
Human-Centered Capitalism

2019-06-13 16:28:35 UTC

What the fuck does this even mean?

2019-06-13 16:28:48 UTC

The United States already provides medical care and a basic income to U.S. Veterans already

2019-06-13 16:28:54 UTC

and we know how that is doing SO WELL

2019-06-13 16:29:10 UTC

What makes Yang suddenly think he can expand this medical care and basic income to everybody else

2019-06-13 16:29:25 UTC

Will he bring a group of the best bureaucrats who can handle it?

2019-06-13 16:29:55 UTC

When you address this

2019-06-13 16:30:05 UTC

```
Andrew would implement a Universal Basic Income, ‘the Freedom Dividend,’ of $1,000/month, $12,000 a year for every American adult over the age of 18. This is independent of one’s work status or any other factor. This would enable all Americans to pay their bills, educate themselves, start businesses, be more creative, stay healthy, relocate for work, spend time with their children, take care of loved ones, and have a real stake in the future.
Any change to the Freedom Dividend would require a constitutional amendment.
```

2019-06-13 16:30:16 UTC

Any change would require a constitutional amendment?

2019-06-13 16:30:29 UTC

So he's proposing an amendment to the Constitution to make this Freedom Dividend possible.

2019-06-13 16:31:11 UTC

The arguments that Yang makes for UBI are completely retarded
