Trump will not get the death penalty and will not be a registered sex offender!

>spends 880 billion on defense per year
>5 billion is too much for a wall

2019-08-09 12:25:03 UTC

@Solid Sar can i try to sell you on a system i designed

2019-08-09 12:26:14 UTC

Is it Israel?

2019-08-09 12:26:23 UTC

no lmao

2019-08-09 12:26:45 UTC

voting for lawyers with generalised economic and social ideologies (which they are no experts in) to legislate every industry over the entire country, but whom are actually beholden to corporate interests, is a bad model for democracy

2019-08-09 12:26:46 UTC

agree?

2019-08-09 12:27:57 UTC

a better model is one which has accountability to the people (which doesn't really exist now) and has experts voting on and legislating the areas they are experts in

2019-08-09 12:27:59 UTC

agree?

2019-08-09 12:33:16 UTC

What like a specialized committee for every issue?

2019-08-09 12:36:27 UTC

say you're a farmer

2019-08-09 12:36:38 UTC

or someone who works for an agribusiness

2019-08-09 12:36:47 UTC

what do *you* know the most about?

2019-08-09 12:36:56 UTC

agriculture!

2019-08-09 12:37:05 UTC

so what should *you* get a say in?

2019-08-09 12:37:11 UTC

agricultural issues!

2019-08-09 12:37:19 UTC

So like a guild system government?

2019-08-09 12:37:26 UTC

sort of, yes!

2019-08-09 12:37:33 UTC

but not "guild"

2019-08-09 12:37:38 UTC

you got the right idea though

2019-08-09 12:38:01 UTC

so in a system where you vote on the things you know the most about, you would be enrolled in an agricultural electorate

2019-08-09 12:38:16 UTC

who elects representatives to an agricultural council

2019-08-09 12:39:05 UTC

yep, but i dont see the career politicians with no actual specialized skills stepping down to let these other specially knowledgeable people take their place. Pretty much every modern country runs on a representative system where the politicians rely heavily on campaign promises and advisers, rather than investigating topics in depth.

2019-08-09 12:39:18 UTC

yes i agree

2019-08-09 12:39:23 UTC

it requires a revolution

2019-08-09 12:39:30 UTC

which is where syndicalism comes in

2019-08-09 12:39:51 UTC

the workers participate in a general strike which forces the politicians to all resign and hand power to the unions

2019-08-09 12:40:08 UTC

unions then set up this corporatist system

2019-08-09 12:40:36 UTC

the main roadblock is popularising this idea to the workers and getting them to join the unions

2019-08-09 12:40:47 UTC

people are dumb as fuck

2019-08-09 12:42:33 UTC

Both sound like Hell

2019-08-09 12:42:52 UTC

@Green Syndicalism *popularizing

2019-08-09 12:43:12 UTC

Surrendering to Hollywood is like Defecting to the Devil!

2019-08-09 12:43:14 UTC

hell in what way

2019-08-09 12:43:32 UTC

isnt a corporatist system far better than parliamentary democracy

2019-08-09 12:44:12 UTC

I dont really have a preference for either

2019-08-09 12:44:57 UTC

but one is far more likely to have experts legislating the industries

2019-08-09 12:45:14 UTC

the other has scammer non-technocrats
