Which is why a majority of Americans also support impeachment.

2019-12-10 15:05:55 UTC

@Sri you want to give us facts instead of vitriol

2019-12-10 15:06:05 UTC

^

2019-12-10 15:06:24 UTC

And yeah, I work for a parasitic hedge fund. Hedge funds should absolutely not exist

2019-12-10 15:07:04 UTC

But the Republican Party has stripped out any financial regulation that would keep us from making insane amounts of money speculating on stock buybacks made with tax cuts

2019-12-10 15:07:16 UTC

@Sri Give us a reason this impeachment is ridiculous

2019-12-10 15:07:21 UTC

So if you hate hedge funds so much, maybe stop supporting us

2019-12-10 15:09:33 UTC

I wish I could actually have a conversation with a reasonable Trump supporter

2019-12-10 15:11:07 UTC

Honestly, if they were reasonable they wouldn’t be trump supporters

2019-12-10 15:11:28 UTC

I think there used to be some, but they’ve all abandoned the party

2019-12-10 15:46:22 UTC

And they got the money and the meeting and there was no investigation...so whats the problem....?

2019-12-10 15:46:26 UTC

Jk

2019-12-10 15:47:02 UTC

Lol

2019-12-10 15:50:39 UTC

Yes that man paid someone to kill your husband ma'am, but the surgeons saved him, so that man is innocent.

2019-12-10 15:50:50 UTC

lol

2019-12-10 16:38:31 UTC

Two cents here. He’ll probably get impeached but not removed and we return to “normalcy”

2019-12-10 16:44:27 UTC

What normalcy?

2019-12-10 16:49:09 UTC

Normalcy as in the general turmoil during trump’s presidency. If it’s not one thing it’s another, there’s been some major scandal or conspiracy going on his entire time in office. That’s what I mean by normalcy, once the immediate threat of his removal is gone then we return to “normalcy”

2019-12-10 16:53:30 UTC

I suspect investigations will continue

2019-12-10 16:57:12 UTC

Every investigation without serious (legal) consequence is more red meat for his base

2019-12-10 16:58:29 UTC

Also for the democratic base

2019-12-10 16:58:43 UTC

There’s not really any evidence to suggest it’s good for trump

2019-12-10 16:59:12 UTC

I’d like to see someone else in office but his competitors are either non-viable, poor speakers, one thing or another. It’s quite cyclical and a bit annoying

2019-12-10 16:59:35 UTC

That’s a bold claim

2019-12-10 16:59:44 UTC

Certainly the public at large disagrees

2019-12-10 17:00:06 UTC

But obviously the democrats are running many viable candidates

2019-12-10 17:00:29 UTC

Well what trump does is reference these past investigations and pairs it with a nickname like “pencil neck” and it turns into a “win” for his base

2019-12-10 17:01:35 UTC

That doesn’t help him electorally at all though

2019-12-10 17:01:59 UTC

There’s nothing he gains from pleasing his hardcore fans

2019-12-10 17:02:45 UTC

Well I didn’t say it benefits him electorally at all

2019-12-10 17:03:07 UTC

It benefits his hardcore fans, I made it out to be a pretty uncontroversial take haha

2019-12-10 17:04:15 UTC

As for the candidates. Well Biden is (extremely) strange, Bernie is honest yet I (doubt) that he would win because he’s too far left and the dnc wouldn’t allow it. Warren has a strong base female base but she’ll be in a three way race for the same voting base as Bloomberg and Biden.

2019-12-10 17:05:25 UTC

How is that a benefit for him?

2019-12-10 17:05:25 UTC

To be clear, I would like to see Bernie make it but he’s too old at this point, same as with Biden.

2019-12-10 17:05:42 UTC

trump sweep incoming

2019-12-10 17:05:45 UTC

Actually Warren’s base is not heavily weighted toward women

2019-12-10 17:05:57 UTC

Honestly there aren’t really data to support what you’re saying

2019-12-10 17:06:20 UTC

democratic candidates are so unfavorable that hillary is leading
