But the Republican Party has stripped out any financial regulation that would keep us from making insane amounts of money speculating on stock buybacks made with tax cuts

What normalcy?

Normalcy as in the general turmoil during trump’s presidency. If it’s not one thing it’s another, there’s been some major scandal or conspiracy going on his entire time in office. That’s what I mean by normalcy, once the immediate threat of his removal is gone then we return to “normalcy”

I suspect investigations will continue

Every investigation without serious (legal) consequence is more red meat for his base

Also for the democratic base

There’s not really any evidence to suggest it’s good for trump

I’d like to see someone else in office but his competitors are either non-viable, poor speakers, one thing or another. It’s quite cyclical and a bit annoying
